liberty fairs. pt deux.

wow, back at liberty fairs for a second season... talk about a sweet surprise! for those of you who missed the memo last month, i was invited back to vegas to work the L.F. blogger studios again, this time serving as the creative director for the contemporary style studio—which was a huge honor.

over the course of the three-day show, i shot three stories (two of which you’ll find in the 'zine below), worked with over 20 brands, and made some new friends along the way. i put together this mini-project to offer an inside look at my experience, from start to finish. hopefully it’ll get you pumped and ready for the seasons ahead, too.

as always, thanks for tuning into my journey—there’s definitely more ahead this fall. for now, check out what i cooked up in vegas. -j

bts: liberty fairs.

last month, i had the awesome privilege of covering liberty fairs: las vegas as one of 11 featured bloggers on location. we had our own private sets, access to all the brands on the floors, and full creativity to develop some amazing content. here's a closer look.

one of my good buddies, darion famous, and i linked up to cover the show together. he brought some really awesome ideas to the table that gave our studio a stand-out look and feel.

i had a work engagement to get back to in nyc, so my trip was a little shorter than the other guys, but that didn't keep from producing a solid series of shots with the brands in attendance. you can check out my instagram for all of my favorite photos, but here's a quick preview below. -j

bts: no days off.

everyone loves a three-day weekend. for most of us, it’s an extra day to relax and escape the corporate cage, but for me, it’s an extra day to get **** done. i spent yesterday, veterans day here in the states, cranking out some work—and it was definitely a wise decision.

for those of you who think this whole blogger thing is just taking a quick photo and writing a witty caption, think again. i really wish it was that simple, but it’s far from it. i thought i’d share a bit of the behind-the-scenes action that goes into getting all this stuff done. after about 5 hours of organizing new products, propping, shooting, and making my first video for the site, i got a ton done. check it out. -j
