another year, another may, another first monday. last night was the 2017 met gala, and once again, the red carpet saw the best, the worst, and the most surprising looks hollywood and the fashion industry could muster up. it was tough—like always—but i think i've narrowed down my list of favorites...
if you followed me on [the no names] back in the day, you know that I always draft my picks into one exceptionally stylish team. this year, and for the first time ever, my QB is a guy—three of them actually. migos came through with my favorite look(s) of the night: totally dapper, but swagged out to the max. honestly, i'm making plans to cop about twelve chains, 8 rings, and some boss old school frames this weekend. and catching the role of team captain, we have future, who wore a custom H&M pussybow top and suit combo. the result: flawless red carpet style. looking at the ladies, i'd have to say my favorite was liu wen. her skirt gave serious throwbacks to justin and britney at the vmas, but updated for an elegant night out (obviously). check out the rest of my roster below. -j
